How long does a grooming appointment take?
Most appointments take 60–90 minutes, depending on your pet’s size, coat condition, and the package you choose. For heavily matted coats or anxious pets, we may recommend a bit more time so we can move gently and safely.
Do I need my pet’s vaccination records?
Yes. For everyone’s safety, we require up-to-date core vaccinations according to your vet’s recommendations. If your pet is already a patient at Jira's Pet Clinic, we’ll have this on file.
Can you handle anxious or senior pets?
Absolutely. Our team is trained in low-stress handling and we work closely with the vet team for senior or medically complex pets. Share any concerns in the booking form so we can plan the calmest possible visit.
What if my pet has mats or skin issues?
We’ll assess mats and skin at check-in and walk you through options. In some cases, a shorter trim is the most comfortable and humane choice. Because we’re inside a clinic, we can loop in a vet if we spot anything concerning.
When do I pay for the grooming?
You’ll pay at the clinic after the grooming is complete. Pricing may be adjusted slightly based on your pet’s size, coat condition, and any add-on services you approve.
